Who is Brian Shartzer?

Born and raised on a small farm outside of Eliopoulos Illinois, Brian Shartzer was shaped by the values that have long defined traditional country music, faith, family, hard work and perseverance. After graduating high school, Brian answered the call to serve his country, enlisting in the United States Army and later the United States Navy. Over the course of more than 10 years of military service, he completed multiple deployment and dedicated his life to something greater than himself. Those experiences gave him a deeper appreciation for freedom, sacrifice, and the people who stand beside you when life gets hard.

In 2008 Brian made a promise to follow his lifelong dream – music. What started on small town stages quickly turned into a journey filled with passion, setbacks, and lessons that would eventually shape the artist he is today. Years of failed bands, financial struggles, and personal battles tested his faith and his drive, but through every trial Bryan kept writing kept believing and kept showing up. By 2024 the grind had taken its toll. Brian turned inward leaning on his faith more than ever each night he nailed in prayer asking God for direction. "I knew in my heart that God was listening" he says "it was a quiet season of surrender but also one of preparation"

Then came the moment that felt divinely timed. While rolling through Facebook Brian stumbled upon Beverly Jenkins – a name known an independent music circles for her fear support of emerging artist. Nervous but hopeful, he reached out. Brian responded not just with kindness but with belief. Bryan stop spending his time trying to sound like others and started focusing on being real, telling his story, and singing in his own voice. Today that voice is reaching listeners around the world.
